A bold cross-border restructuring reshapes the top tiers of French and Swiss football. Due to a special federation agreement, four Swiss clubs enter the Ligue 1, while four French clubs are temporarily reassigned to the Swiss Super League as a form of “competitive punishment” and structural balancing.
